Aims and Scope

Egyptian Journal of Agricultural Sciences (EJAS) is the official journal of Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. EJAS is an open-access peer-reviewed journal publishing original research articles, review articles and short communications on experimental and theoretical research work. EJAS aims to publish high-quality applied researches, new methods and frontiers leading to maximizing the quality and quantity of animal and plant yields. The journal will consider research that uses comprehensive and explanatory approaches. The EJAS covers the following areas:

Type of articles

Research articles: Articles should be clearly and concisely written and should normally not exceed 4,500 words. Articles greatly in excess of this limit cannot be considered for publication.

Review articles: They should give an update on recent advances in a particular field and be targeted at research agriculture engineering who are not necessarily working in the same field. The length should not exceed 4500 words. 

Short communication: A shorter article that not justify a full-length article, up to 1,500 words. Such short communication might appropriately deal with a new agricultural aspect or for presenting new solutions and technologies. The results of this small research should not be previously published in any media.
